Help! I've lots of acne during the puberty age. Went for facial yet they forcefully squeezed out all the acnes . Now it leaves lots of scars , especially on my cheeks Really wish i can do something to fix it. Any recommendations for the treatment to treat acne scars? TIA

Here are some tips for treating acne:

Unclog your pores with salicylic acid. Acne begins to form when pores get clogged with a "plug" of keratin and sebum. Salicylic acid loosens the plug by softening the keratin (it's a keratolytic). Make sure you use sunblock simultaneously, however, because salicylic acid makes your skin more sensitive to UV light.
Use a gel, cream, or soap containing benzoyl peroxide twice a day. Benzoyl peroxide is a "bactericide" that's particularly effective against Propionibacterium acnes.
Look for treatments with sulfur and sodium sulfacetamide as their active ingredients.

Acne problem is terrible and I remember that when I was on high school I have lots of pimples but I am thankful that they're gone now. Maybe you can seek for advise of your dermatologist so that the scares from the acne will be remove. I know that there is a procedure to get rid of that thing.

Here are some home remedies to get rid of acne scars:

- Squeeze the juice out of fresh lemons or limes.
Apply the juice directly on your acne scars using a cotton ball. Let your skin soak up the lemon juice for a while before washing it off with water. Lemon juice improves the appearance of dark acne scars and blemishes by lightening them.

- Mix sandalwood with a few drops of rosewater to make a paste.
The sandalwood and rosewater paste can be used as a facial mask and can be directly applied on the scarred area. Leave the paste on for more than an hour. Wear it overnight if you can. Wash off completely with water. This is an effective method of how to treat acne scar because of sandalwood's soothing and cooling effect on the skin.

- Slice up a tomato and place it over your face.
Tomatoes are rich in vitamin A that hinders overproduction of sebum that causes acne. Vitamin A also has antioxidant qualities that refreshes and renews scarred and damaged skin.
