Hi,
Planning to visit Kaoshiung, Tainan & Taichung with family members this December (about 10 days). Since we're on a budget, like to know if it's easy and cheap to travel on our own. What are the places we should not missed? We love nature...so scenery instead of shopping. What about the climate in december? Greatly appreciate your reply. Thanks to all!

I would say the world most expensive thing for us would be travel expense.......You would need to option between either bus or train!!!
